This leads to the most complicated question that holds no answer: how a parliamentary fact-finding committee is formed in one of the most suspected case of corruption, while many other potential cases of corruption have gone without similar security?
A fact-finding committee has been formed due to a suspected case of corruption in referring a bid to engineering firm owned by the wife of Eng. Hosni Abu Gheida, Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) commissioner. The same aforesaid committee is prevented to probe transferring $ 600,000 from the treasury to the personal bank account of the former premier Ali Abu al-Ragheb , hours before his resignation along with other Human Trade accusations directed to Jordanian firm of which one of its partners is Dr. Basim Awadallah, Chief of the Royal Court.
Jordan Television director by attorney Jarir Maraqa was promoted and appointed as General Director of Television and Broadcast Department.
Maraqa's promotion implicitly reveals his acquittance from the accusation directed to him, especially that premier Nader Dahabi decided to terminate the contract with the engineering firm owned by Abu Gheida’s wife following the awash of the published news in Al-Arab Al-Yawm Daily.
